RACINE COUNTY, WI– The Racine County Sheriff's Office is now partnering with the Neighbors App by Ring, the company announced Friday.
“This collaboration permits us to communicate with you in a new and unique method,” the Sheriff's Department explained by means of Facebook
Neighbors users can get notices of crimes in their locations, get requests for video footage to assist in investigations and see public service announcements from the Racine County Sheriff's Office.
Community members who do not have a Ring device however desire to get details about their neighborhoods, may download the Neighbors app to their mobile phones and communicate with the Sheriff's Office there.
“We think when locals and public security firms work together, more secure communities become a reality,” according to the App creator's website.
This Active Agency Map allows users to search either by postal code, address or aesthetically by zooming into an area or city to see if their regional public safety firm is using Neighbors.
