After 38 years of operating at New Ulm Chiropractic, Dr. Steve Hawkins lastly got a possibility to work with one of his children. Steve has 3 kids, Daniel, Scott and Andrew, all of whom are chiropractics physician.
From a young age Dr. Hawkins was sharing his passion for chiropractic medication and it filtered down to the next generation. it was only a matter of time prior to things fell into appropriate positioning and among his kids joined him at the center on South Broadway.
“I constantly hoped one kid would return,” Steven Hawkins stated. “All of my kids matured with my philosophy.”
Daniel said from a young age he was considering being a chiropractic practitioner. It was constantly at the top of his list. At first, he went to school for dentistry however said it never ever felt right. Chiropractic medication appears to have a draw for the Hawkins family.
Daniel worked as a chiropractor in the Twin Cities for the last 5 years. He considered opening a practice in there but wished to go back to New Ulm and keep the household service going. “They helped raise me,” he said.
For Daniel, the appeal of chiropractic learning more about individuals and help them with their problems.
“We get to see a lot of people and then see them get healthy,” Daniel stated. He estimated on an average day they could see 80 people and be a source of details.
His dad concurred it was a strong perk. “We remedy the issue, but then we preserve it,” Steven stated. “You see clients and they are healthy, but they wish to stay healthy.”

Daniel was the first of Hawkins young boy to go back to the New Ulm Chiropractic, however he might not be the last. Steve and Daniel both think Scott or Andy might return to work at the family clinic sooner or later if the stars and spinal columns align.
